Game mechanics

  • Game controls are W A S D for character movement

  • Shooting is enabled with left mouse click

  • Changing weapons with scroll wheel

  • Right click on Computer object makes the door open

  • Going to door player enters next level

Techniques used in the game. Weapons

  • Game character is holding in weapon.

  • Weapon is rotating depending on how player is moving the mouse

  • There are three weapons in the game. First one is machine gun and main character have it straight from the beginning of the first level

  • Second weapon can be collected in second level

  • Third weapon Bazooka can be collected on third level

  • You can choose the weapon with scroll wheel

Techniques used in the game. Enemies

  • Enemies are appearing randomly on the map

  • They have two states: static state and attack state

  • Static state of enemies is when they are wondering around the map in random direction

  • Attack state is when the main character is in short distance from enemy, he starts to follow the main hero

  • Enemies make damage to main hero when they are very close

Techniques used in the game. Power Ups

  • Killing one enemy gives 5 score points

  • When enemies are killed, they drop hacking point powerups

  • Hacking points are drawn by the player if he is close

  • The goal of each level is to collect enough hacking points to fill the bar in the top centre of the screen

  • There are vending machines all over the levels and they drop health packs when player has not full health

Techniques used in the game. Music and Sound

  • Every level and menu have different background music

  • Weapons have different shooting sounds

  • Picking up health packs and hacking computers have their own sound effects
